Bonita Austin, MBA, is a Professor (Lecturer) in the David Eccles School of Business (DESB) at the University of Utah, and the Academic Director of the Business Scholars Program. She has received 5 teaching awards and the faculty lifetime partnership award from Business Career Services. Bonita frequently works with Executive Education in open enrollment and custom training programs in change management. Her teaching interests include strategic leadership, entrepreneurship, strategy, business turnarounds, and change management. During her 15 years at the University of Utah, she has written and published six teaching cases with accompanying teaching notes. Bonita was featured in the book, Chasing Stars: The Myth of Talent and the Portability of Talent, by Harvard Professor, Dr. Boris Groysberg. She holds an MBA from University of Alabama, a BS from Troy University (math and economics) and is a Certified ScrumMaster.
