Lizzie Schoon, MPA
Senior Wellness Program Analyst
Lizzie Schoon, MPA, administers the employee health and well-being program for the City and County of Denver. After spending two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Lesotho (southern Africa), she started her career at the City as an intern for wastewater management and then worked in the Vice and Drug Control Bureau at the police department. In 2013, she started working in human resources and helped the City redesign its well-being program with health equity in mind and a data-driven approach to addressing social drivers of health. Lizzie was born in Colorado and lives with her seven-year-old son in Aurora, where she loves to read, eat at local restaurants and listen to live music.
