Maria Hernandez

Maria Hernandez, PhD, is President and Chief Operating Officer of Impact4Health, a California firm working with organizations across the nation on strategic innovations to advance health equity. Maria partners with senior executives on developing inclusive leadership skills that build a culture of inclusion and support a sense of belonging among all. During the pandemic, the link between a sense of belonging and well-being has lead to her facilitating key dialogue for leaders who must address unprecedented challenges for employee engagement, well-being, and productivity. The link between well-being, inclusion, equity, and the ability for employees at all levels to flourish and thrive is now a major focus of all interventions. Maria is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she holds a PhD in community psychology and was recently inducted into the Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame for her contributions in healthcare.
