Steve Clausen

Steve Clausen is Senior Strategy Consultant and Local Practice Leader for Aon’s Minneapolis Health Solutions consulting team. Steve combines more than 30 years of experience leading teams of consultants in developing, evaluating, and implementing leading-edge benefit strategies for global and national organizations, with a focus on consumerism and engagement strategies. His past consulting experience has included assisting organizations with understanding and developing strategies considering healthcare reform, measurement and evaluation of health strategies and programs, consumerism, effective well-being programs, and plan designs. He has also helped organizations in vendor evaluation and plan management, implementation of communication strategies, labor negotiations, plan compliance, and prescription drug plan design. Prior to joining Aon, Steve spent 13 years as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in business finance from Gustavus Adolphus College.
